    New to Forum

    Hi,

    My name is John and I'm new to the EOS forum although I've had my DSLR for about 4 years. I did film photography with SLR cameras from the early 1970's and then got my first digital camera, a Canon Powershot A95, for my 50th birthday; but I missed the 'heft' of an SLR camera and looking through a viewfinder to compose a picture live rather than in Photoshop, and I picked up a second hand 300D which I've been playing with ever since.

    This is the place to come with any questions and to please show us your work. I'd been taking photographs for years but, since joining this group and heeding the advice freely given, the standard of my work has improved immeasurably.

              one tip when posting images most use flirkr here as direct uploads look awful
