Only NEWS agencies. Photo agencies also include the likes of Shutterstock, Alamy, Picfair, etc and they don't care about how manipulated a photograph is so long as they can sell it.

            Re: My opinion.

I did not realise that I would cause such a stir with my first ever posting. Let me try & answer some of the questions that have come out of the discussion. I know you want me to put some pictures up, but, the EOS magazine has decided to take this up . So I have submitted some photos to them for inclusion. Maybe then you can read it & comment.
As for the comment that by taking the photos I have already affected my original photo, this I stretching the debate a bit far, how else am I meant to take the photos.
As for the level of cheating ( yes I am still calling it that) changing colours, taking out things you do not like these are NOT what you took, they are just computerised fantasies. I have even seen a picture of The Red Arrows ( accepted by some local papers) showing them flying with a Cornish sunset behind it, where it was impossible for the sun to be at that angle. Where does it stop? Oh & by the way Daisy was my old Fire Service nickname, I am a fella

I will politely give up now. What ever you do then I hope you enjoy it.

You have had other more important things occupying your time recently, so you might have missed the nine posts Daisy M has made in this thread, in addition to her opening post - though you did reply to one of them.

                        Re: My opinion.

Think the number of posts just shows how people have different views on this topic. Before we denounce current techniques spend some time checking out those iconic shot from the past and discover how much these were 'tweaked'.

It's a HE Robert he has opened the closet at last ,as it appears he has been approached by the magazine for some photos ? As editor and owner could you request that some are shown on here .
And mr daisy surely your whole photo library has not been submitted to the magazine ,some work ,any work in fact will do .
