Hi
This is my first post having found out about the forum a few weeks ago.
I have been using Canon cameras since my parents bought me an AE1 to replace my Zenit E back in the mid 1970's. I worked my way up the range ending up with an A1, T90 and an A1 waterproof compact. My T90 finally started playing up earlier this year and a couple of the lens got internal fungus neither could be repaired, both were over 30 years old. So I decided to get a DSLR to go with the Canon G12 my wife bought me for my 50th. After trying many different cameras I decided on an EOS 6d as that was as close to the T90 as I could find. I didn't like mirror less cameras at all, the electronic view finder seems so false. I'm very happy with the EOS 6d even for the sport that my daughter does (rowing). The quality of the photos is really good and when I find how to post a photo or two I will.
Enjoying photography again!
Cheers
Chris
