    Portrait location ideas?

Hi folks. My daughter had come home with a request to enter a photo of her reading in a strange / bizzare place. It's just a bit of fun for "world book day" next week.

I've come up with on my motorbike and in my dad's concrete mixer.

Just wondered what you guys could come up with?

As you are from Kidderminster Guesty - how about wrapped in a roll of carpet?

Following on from CountDavid's thoughts of tying it to Kidderminster, I've looked on Wiki for famous residents. Could you do her sitting on a post box (Sir Rowland Hill connection)? Or preferably for me, because I love blues music, in a Chicken Shack (because of Stan Webb).

I think there's mileage (sorry - no pun intended) in this..... Her riding pillion, helmet-on, reading her book while riding along - the story is so gripping she just can't put it down. If you could get a "motion" shot with the background blurred, even better.

          Cheers guys.

Like those ideas ( and the puns! )

Roberto, she's a bit too young (5) to be on the back of the bike when running. Her little legs don't touch the pegs yet!

I'll share what I come up with.

Whoops! My bad! You're probably right

Looking forward to the results.. Pob lwc (as we say in Wales, especially on St. David's Day).

I see one of the books for World Book Day this year is Horrible Histories: Terrible Trenches - so in a trench with helmet etc on :)

or Fun with The Worst Witch - riding a broomstick?

Another random thought - dependent upon how good your pp skills are, have her shrunk down sitting on a chair or blown up leaning on a building, whilst reading either Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or Gulliver's Travels, or some such.

                  Great idea.

OK, how about taking out all the shelves from the fridge and have her reading by fridge light! She could have the book up to her face with the bulb glowing and casting light on her face and the pages.

How about on a merry go round. Find the fairground and change the travelling motorbike to a merry go round horse?

Well my daughter came home yesterday with £100 of book tokens for winning the "crazy reading challenge". I'll post up the photo tonight, but technically speaking the actual photo is terrible. I'd normally delete similar quality photos but ran it off time and had to use what I'd got.

                        Erin is suitably chuffed though!
