Should have gone to specsavers !!!

We went to Titchfield Haven today and on entering one of the hides overlooking feeders i glanced out the window and there and right in front was a great spotted woodpecker, low to the ground pecking on a trunk. Quietly i opened the window, sat down and fired off a shot, with this result....................

Almost as good as the kingfisher outside the hide at Slimbridge.

Apparently it isn't there on hot days ................. in case it melts!
