Club Annual Exhibition

I was "well-chuffed" the other day. At our Annual Exhibition I won the cup for the best novice/intermediate for my photograph of the Thames at Culham (which once featured in the EOS Mag...). I also won the Award for the Best Action Shot for the Flying Mallard that I showed on here some time ago. In fact Culham got a Highly Commended for the best landscape print as well, and that Mallard got a highly commended for best print. I got two Commended's for best novice/intermediate print for Furzt Platt Station and Tower Bridge at Night. For DPI I got one commended for Ghost Train...

I know that sounds like showing off! In fact it is showing off, but I was a happy bunny after that lot. I then left the exhibition and flew to Denver for a few days - regrettably where I had to work...

OK enough of the adulation he will get a swollen head ...... so what did I get in the same exhibition ?? zip

To be honest the images that Richard submitted were very worthy winners against some very stiff competition. I was assisting the judge in setting up the prints for him to judge and the comment made by the judge, who does do international competitions, were that he would be very happy to put the prints in any competition in the world and they would all make the finals... praise indeed.
