    BWPA - shortlisted

    Just got back from the hols to a pleasant surprise - one of my images entered in the British Wildlife Photography Awards has been shortlisted.

    No real idea quite how good that is - is it a short or a long short list, I dont know but pleased as the last time i entered didnt even get this far

    Have to wait until mid July now for the final results

                      Thanks guys.

                      with this competition I had thpugh the judges would be looking for something a bit different to the normal shot, so i had picked out 6 entries which i thought may fit the bill and the one that was chosen was the one of the ones i thought less likely but perhaps what makes it different is the pose of the heads - here it is - one of the shots of the great crested grebes courting
