Movember - anyone joining in?

Having been clean shaven for 44 years, I've decided to join in with the Movember challenge, raising awareness of Mens Health - testicular cancer, prostate cancer, mental health.

I have set myself only a small target, but hopefully with friends, colleagues, family, it is easily reachable.

Is anyone else joining in this month with it - whats your mo-progress like at moment.

Please note I am not asking for donations as I dont really know anyone here personally - Im just interested in how many people take part in these things - its my first year. However, all donations are welcome and thank you if you do.

I shan't be growing a moustache, but I do donate to Cancer Research UK every year, and whenever I give a talk on astronomy/the night sky to local organisations, I always request a donation to that worthy, and important cause.

BTW, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2012, underwent 7.5 weeks of Radio Therapy, and am still on 6 monthly checkups.

Its not until you attend a hospital with this problem , that you realise just how many men it affects.

I would advise any man over 50 to at least have a PSA test. The earlier its discovered, the better the chance of any treatment being effective.

good on you Andy - its not for me as charity or not my wife would not come anywhere near me if I had one, and considering we work together that could be a problem... well done
