For ages I haven't been able to work out why my exposure settings were so wrong. I'm not at pro level, but I do understand about exposure. Then I remembered... I hadn't cleaned my specs in about a month. Suddenly, I started seeing things akin to their proper colours again & my settings became more accurate again.
Moral? It's the small, easy to forget, things that make a difference between a successful photo & one for the bin.
