Re: What was your first Canon?
I was given a Canon A1 and lens but sold them to fund my first DSLR (Pentax).
My first Canon DSLR was a Canon 40D with a 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens which I bought in 2007 a great combo at the time.
I upgraded to a Canon 5D mkII the following year.Canon EOS R6 Mark II, Canon RF 100-500mm f4.5-7.1L, Canon RF 24-105mm f4L
Please note: I do not have or use Photoshop

Re: What was your first Canon?
One of the maintenance blokes at work had a brand new and boxed EOS 650 that his son had taken in part payment of a debt, and he sold it to me for £90. The week after I bought a nifty fifty to get going with it, up 'til then I had Praktika BX20 cameras but always wanted to upgrade to something better. Couldn't decide whether to go Canon, Nikon or Pentax, this made my mind up.Last edited by jk224; 14-09-2019, 21:53.John

Re: What was your first Canon?
EOS 600. Got nicked from the boot of locked hire car @ Ragua on the Douro River, Portugal. Finding the local cop shop to report it was difficult, getting a report was even harder. Replaced it with a EOS 5 after months of trying to get money out of an insurance company. Still got the EOS 5, now on display with my collection of old cameras.Derek
