          might not arrive until 9pm....hopefully there will be enough daylight for F11....at least a static subject.

                it arrived!!!
                Looks like I have a lot of menu settings to change...two of these appeared as JPEG only, focussing settings need to be changed and IS settings etc...first shots look promising though...

                            As expected it will need some good light....and I've got to get over my fear of ISOs over 400....Just set up three custom menus on the R6, but there are some settings I'm a bit confused about.
                            Will try to get out to Trentham Gardens tomorrow pm.....thanks for your comments...let me know if there are any specific shots or settings you want me to post....

                              Looks like an excellent start to a very interesting journey Brian. The low light performance of the R6 is supposed to be better so it’ll be interesting to see you find pic quality is maintained at higher ISOs than before, it might be a useful extension you could exploit.
