Well, that's enough of that for me!

Greetings folks, just to let you know I am today back at home from a rather unexpected triple by-pass operation last Friday morning.

All in all, not an experience I would wish to repeat (especially the heart attack bit).

(Very) light duties for a while, but sitting down all the time is not a recommended option so I shall try and get the M5 out (weight lifting limitations) and incorporate it into my exercise walks.

With the house being built on the side of a hill, going from any one room to another generally involves a couple of stairs, so just wandering round the house will be part of the exercise regime.

I wish you a speedy recovery John. I had my heart attack (& stents) over 20 years ago & I'm still ticking. So plenty of (moderate) exercise and the occasional glass of red should do the trick. Russell.

        Yikes!

Sounds like the operation went well at least. With any luck you'll soon be out and about as usual.

Glad you are on the recovery road, with Autumn in the garden you should be able to get some good shots and if not to much a steady walk around Blackwell Lake for some wildlife. Take it easy, cider is a good medicine.

Slow and steady , John, and enjoy each day for every small improvement that it brings.

Oh John, really sorry to hear that but glad you're coming through it. I hope you didn't overstress yourself turning your glut of Dabinettes and Backwell Reds into that glorious liquid gold you make
