Welcome Jon, that's a great shot. Regarding shooting in mono, if you're shooting both raw and jpeg together, the advantage of shooting mono is that you will get a fair idea what the conversion will look like from the thumbnail in camera, yet still have the full raw colour info on the card for processing. Best of both worlds!
