    Re: FILTER ADVICE

Try Linhof Studio, they have a good range and are super quick with delivery, my last Filter was ordered at 1600Hrs one day last week, it arrived in the Post at 0930 next Morning.

Have tried one or two screw on ND Filters in the past but couldn't really get on with them, I think the Old adage of buy Cheap buy Twice is worth thinking about here. There is no doubt Lee Filters are expensive, but no one insists you buy them all at once, buy the Foundation kit with a WA Adaptor a 0.6 Soft Grad, that will give you a starting point and then build up slowly, maybe buying another Filter every couple of Months, also well worth checking Ebay and Preloved for this sort of kit.

Look forward to seeing some results

    Regards Paul

There is one thing have come across my CANON 5DMK1 has no live view.

No experience of Hitech, perhaps someone else has.

The Cokin set has case, holder and 3 soft grads. Just adapter ring to add about £20.

Always comments about colour cast but so far only seen slight warming with my 10 stop ND, easily corrected and not really a problem with sunrise/sunsets.

          Didn't know 5D1 doesn't have live view.
