    John, yes that edited image is lovely, great job. Being able to see the detailed carving more easily adds real interest and makes your eye linger for much longer. Great classic overall composition too.

        Alex & Patrick - thanks for looking and commenting - I must confess I really thought I might have overdone the lightening of the cross, but it seems it is OK.
