Henrhyd Falls

I spent a very pleasant afternoon trying to capture the water cascading over the rocks.
A reasonable walk opening out to a wonderful waterfall. It is one of the few that you can walk behind.

I think these falls are in South Wales- near Swansea

If you're planning to go Henrhyd then the Autumn is the best time to go. Here's one I took a while back.

These are about an hour from me and I go quite a lot, although I normally go just down the road at Pontneddfechan which is excellent. Here's a shot from there. Best to go a day or two after the rains.

No. There is a NT car park, a warlk down one side, cross a bridge and a slight climb up the other side.
It is well worth a Google Earth search. It is quite isolated.

No. They are here on this map (the area on the right) The area Roy refers to is a few miles away (marked on the left of the map near Coelbren)

This website gives the detail of both (see links at the bottom for Pontneddfechan site) Both sites are really spectacular if it's wet enough! I've been up there three times this year (only an hour from my house) You need to dodge the other photographers though. Great fun seeing a Nikon getting a wetty...
