I've only seen reds once, in Scotland, and I didn't have the reach to take anything good of them

On Brownsea you dont need a very long lens, just entice them close with a nut or two

How accessible is brownsea. Presumably low tide only?

It is an Island in Poole Harbour and accessible by boat either from Poole quay or Sandbanks. It is National Trust but with a large part leased to Dorset Wildlife Trust as a nature reserve. The squirrels are all over the Island and all these shots are from the NT part
