Sorry about today. I think all this drive to Kingfishers is taking its toll on me. I haven't photographed anything but them since the new year. It's starting to become obsessive now. They are just such a marvellous wee bird. Watching them diving into the water to get fish you cant even see.

I do probably need a wee break from it all.

That's a very nice kingfisher shot Paul. Yes it is a bit bright, but I prefer the 1st image. It stands out well against the background and it's pin sharp.

Hey Paul, don't you dare start feeling disappointed about that. It's a kingfisher; the holy grail for many of us. For a grabbed shot in tough lighting I'd be over the moon, and all the effort you have put in over the months has led you to being right place, right time with right kit. And you'll be there again.
