      Re: Locked on Target

I'm not really a bird guy but your title got my interest and the opening shot I thought was stunning with a stormy clouds in the back ground for me making a lot more interesting than just another bird photo ( sorry guys) but then you add another 2 and the last is stunning work

All you need to do now is work on your composite skills and put a little bird there ready for him to grab :)

He, he, nice thought, but I think that might put me on the naughty step with my fellow wildlife photographers.

            Re: Locked on Target

I've been placing road kill out in the hope of getting pictures of predators locally, not worked yet, but I'm after wild animals. I do like that last shot also.

                Re: Locked on Target

The one you caught in the Snow is amazing , it`s definitely one of those " Wish I had taken that " . Ones .
Going back to what you said earlier , I think it`s quite relevant how our images were taken , knowing this was a captive bird has not made it any less impressive , but would it of been more impressive if we knew it was a wild bird ? Most definitely yes . I am nuts about Fallow Deer , and I am fairly convinced I can often tell a photo of a Deer taken in the wild , to that of one taken in a park , regardless how big the park is , the animals in it are still captive , how big is a fence before it`s not classed as a cage ? I am personally much more satisfied and impressed by decent photos of wild Deer than I am captive ones . That`s not to take anything away from your photo , captive or not , I doubt I could of made such a magnificent photo of it as you have here , but the skill place and time it takes to capture wildlife is relevant to my mind .
