Went to photograph the kestrels yesterday and had company of this jackdaw. Despite his misshapen beak he can still forage.
Actually in our village is a place that looks after injured birds. This jackdaw came in as a young bird and is now very use to people, often frightens the day trippers (we are on the edge of the Pennies and there is a canal with cafes etc.) by landing on their shoulder.
He spent about quarter of an hour with me siting on my shoulder and arm.
