Chicks are developing fast and lots of stomping about in the nest

And feathers are more and more evident though some way to go. Doesn't stop lots of wing flapping though

Chicks are starting to get the idea of how to feed themselves

Now this was a big surprise. On a window ledge close to the nest was this pigeon. As you can see its had its head removed. Now this would be a exceptional prey item for a kestrel. A feral pigeon would be easily as big and heavy as the female and somewhat bigger then the male.
My own idea is this bird flew into the window and the kestrel decapitated it, maybe. Went this morning and the head is still there but no sign of the carcase. Can't imagine a kestrel being able to carry it.
