    Pale and interesting - no way!!

    A couple more orange poppy shots - the centres are certainly very colourful!

    Those are seriously strong colours and well captured Diana.
    I want the abstract to work but I am not sure it does for me.
    I will be looking out for some poppies now - you have inspired me

          The 2nd works the best as an abstract image - the first I feel as thought the center should be sharp

            Agree with Ian completely. Love no 2 No 1 is good too, but for me if the purple sead-head (?) was as sharp as the stamens it would hold more interest across the image.

              Agree with the above comments and the potential for some great shots is there so keep trying (must admit I'm going to give it a go too).
