The 2nd works the best as an abstract image - the first I feel as thought the center should be sharp:- Ian

Agree with Ian completely. Love no 2 No 1 is good too, but for me if the purple sead-head (?) was as sharp as the stamens it would hold more interest across the image.Canon EOS 7D

Agree with the above comments and the potential for some great shots is there so keep trying (must admit I'm going to give it a go too).Chris
