          Excellent images John.

Would you be so kind as to divulge the settings you used?

Thanks John and I'm only too happy to divulge the settings

A litle bit of experimentation is always worthwhile and my first few shots were at 5 secs but settled on either 8 or 10
All at f14 and ISO 100.
            Manual focus.
Tripod mounted, of course, but as my remote shutter release wouldn't work (probably flat battery) I had to use the camera button which isn't ideal as it can introduce shake and probably did for some of the shots.

            Camera was a 7D with a EF-S 15-85 at a distance of 1041 metres.

            Cheers,
            John

              I like 3, 6 & 7 a lot.

If you want to take some more the British Fireworks Championships are on in Plymouth this week.

                Thanks wayne

I've never attended the championships even though I'm only thirty miles away so maybe this year

                        Ooooh, aaaaah....

Rather excellent... I particularly like the 1st one - with the launch trail rising from the boat the whole thing looks like a giant flower...
