    Re: Tesco Hudl2

Had a look a some 'end user' reviews for "Go Launcher", and it seems that one called "Apex Launcher" is now quite popular.

A common complaint with "Go Launcher" seems to be one of constant updates, As one user users says:

"For a long time I used Go, but got sick of the constant updates and it became really bloated. I have switched to Apex and much prefer it."

        No problem Paul.

I had a look at Apex Launcher, and bought it , £2.49 from the Google store.

Downloaded and installed, and apart from the My Tesco app, all of the otherTesco crud has disappeared from my screen.

Something else to consider for image transfer:

This is if you just want to be able to view your images from the convenience of your hudl and don't wan't to always have to fire up the big machine to do so

Your hudle will have Google + ( the G+ icon)

If you sign up for a free G+ account on your pc (if you have a gmail address you can use that) then sign into it on your hudl

Then set up your G+ on the hudle and the pc to auto back up

Then, anytime you add a picture file to your pc a back up copy will be automatically uploaded to your online Google account (safe and private unless you decide otherwise). Visa versa for any images you may take with the hudle itself

So, you add a photo, to the pc, save it after editing etc and next time you turn on your hudl it is already available to view on your G+ - provided you are within wi fi range of course - and you can then copy selected pics onto the device itself.

You can set G+ to turn off its auto enhance feature (which thinks it can edit better than you) - I think you can determine the resolution of the back up also.

You can do something very similar with Microsoft Onedrive

I use this all the time (G+) the other way around, I take reference shots with my iphone and when I get back to the office they are available on the pc
