But, if it is the a fake, the Photoshop skills of the faker are excellent.... the lens look tangible, even if the body doesn't....

Not heard that but the 7D is announced an 18mpix APS-C sensor hope it's not as noisy as the 15 on the 50D.

Why have they called it the 7D when it really is a the 60D. Calling it the 7D gives the impession its improved version of the 5D.
Mind you seeing Canon have cut down the pixle count in the G11, it may be, but with short back lenses and 1.6 crop factor plus the inbuilt flash it is more like an upgrade for the 50D.

I dont think it in the same market place as the 50D and am sure that a 60D will come in time, The 7D will sit nicely next to the 5D in the 'PRO' market, Look at the specs and you will see it has the same body material as the 5D2 and weather sealing, I think this is where some confusion is taking place, A pro level cropped body (like Nikons D300) will be a great asset to the Full frame 5D2
