How were you checking it? take a pic and zoom in to see if it's sharp? how did you know which way to go? were you using a scale of some kind or just photos of different objects?

        hi briansquibb

Can I ask a question you talk about the Canon Service but where do you send the camera too Canon or the shop where you brought it from, why I ask this because I brought my EOS in China but when I return to the UK will I have to send it back to China? And how do you pay when it gets repaired?

        Thanks

          Re: Canon Service

I send it to the canon repair centre in the UK

I would imagine there might be issues if dealing with a warantee claim - but I dont know about that

You can also take it to a Pro Dealer when you would pay for it in the nornal manner

            Re: Canon Service

Why I ask this because every dslr Canon is made in Japan but the warranty is only one year so it will expire before I return to the UK. but thanks anyway

When you sent the camera to canon did you use EMS or something like that in the UK.

No I hope never, I just wanted to know how it was done by yourself so I will know in the future.

                Thanks
