- and yes, with higher dr and lower noise and pixel count

So, why is it that all phones are named after healthy fruit, but when you go to the supermarket as soon as you get in the door you gat assailed by sticky buns, chocolate, and double-glazing salesmen, and have to fight you way to the fruit?

I'm with you on that Rob. All the unhealthy stuff should be on the first floor and both escalators should be coming down from that floor to ground. Anyone not fit enough to run up a down escalator can't have any spoils. Double-glazing sale people should only be able to talk to you on the escalators. Keep the plonk in the basement.

PS ...and no talking to the fruit!

...but Canon have already built voice recording into EOS cameras. I've been talking to mine for years now. It never talks back though, which is good.

1 series have a built in voice recorder, and have done for quite a while.

Used it once - never bothered again.

I want a digi SLR with a tilt-and-swivel viewing screen, just like a video camera and a lot of still cameras. My compact Canon A630 has one, and it has proved so useful I would never buy another camera without one. Canon don't seem to make one, not even a compact at the moment, but other manufacturers do. I don't want to switch to another manufacturer, but if Canon won't give me what I want again, then I will have little choice.

I need a camera that maps directly into the neural network of whatever passes for my brain and when I am about to press the shutter button on what I think is a great shot says (out loud) "Stop taking b***** snaps you p****!"

I think that would solve all of my requirements....

100% viewfinder is essential and low noise performance. Metring still needs development - let's see what the 7D is like in use.....
