The Idea
A great opportunity for us all to have the same challenge (and subject) across the country*
Would anyone be interested in a competition where the challenge is to take the best photo of the Olympic torch, torch bearer or a member of the supporting entourage as it passes through your town or a town near you?
* - Sorry to those who are not in the UK - but I hope you will still vote!
In brief
Choose your best image of the torch and or bearer or entourage. Ensure your image is a maximum of 800 pixels along its widest/longest edge, up to 800Kbytes in size and with the EXIF data intact. The images must have been taken by you using a Canon EOS camera during the period of the competition and be in jpeg format. The images will be posted in a temporary album on the forum after the entry date has closed. After this time registered users will be able to submit anonymous votes for their favourites. Everyone can be a ‘judge’ – you’re voting for the best pictures in your opinion.
Prize
None, other than the right to use “Winner of the EOS-Magazine-Chasing the Light competition” bragging rights, and may be a cunning fashioned Avatar
