That is the curse of this project - the commercial roadshow that gets in the way of everything and hogs the limelight. I suppose the money the sponsors put up is needed but it is a pity that the commercialism is so in your face. The Olympic coaches and vans are chicken feed compared to the Samsung and Coca-Cola buses that got in my way.

Couldn't have put it better. Huge crowd, opportunity very missed. Fairly disappointed with the day, but glad this competition gave me a target to work to which made it a lot more interesting (and no, that shot isn't my entry!)

Yay I've finally got some shots of the torch relay, went to Grays with the kiddies yesterday. Very busy but purely by chance got a spot just behind the change over, concentration was laking though as was worried about losing Daisy or Harry getting hurt in the crouds of people around his pram!!

Think I have my favourite, but will have another go on the 22nd when it comes to Dagenham
