    DxO PureRaw 3

I've been using PR2 for some of my R7 high ISO images to good effect. There has been an update, PR3, that seems to be yield even better results.

Out of interest I tried the software on an old image of a kingfisher. This was taken on a very shady steam with my 7D2, 1/750 sec, f5.6, ISO 3200. The 7D2 wasn't the best with highish ISO and overcast conditions.

As you can see the original is very grainy, there was an OOF leaf bottom left the explains the effect there.

But after PR3 the image is, well, completely different.

Hi Ant, can see the improvement in the bird and conditions. Although I can see nothing wrong with the original shot. It was taken on a shady stream and this is portrayed in the shot - why change it.
    BTW nice captured shot.

The reduction in grain is very good Ant, I find ON1 NoNoise to be very good.

For me the grain would make this record shot at very best. If you zoom in to the beak area the separation from the background is poor in the original, better in the new version.

I know what your saying about it captured the moment that's why I kept it.
