I've been using PR2 for some of my R7 high ISO images to good effect. There has been an update, PR3, that seems to be yield even better results.
Out of interest I tried the software on an old image of a kingfisher. This was taken on a very shady steam with my 7D2, 1/750 sec, f5.6, ISO 3200. The 7D2 wasn't the best with highish ISO and overcast conditions.
As you can see the original is very grainy, there was an OOF leaf bottom left the explains the effect there.

But after PR3 the image is, well, completely different.
