Re: Sad day in Photography
Well Chapter 11 should keep the wolves away whilst they try and sell their Patent library. Who recalls that Canon's early digital models (the EOS D2000 and D6000) were 'powered by Kodak'. Then Kodak seemed to lose the plot with digital.
For color (sic) I used Kodak most of the time, for B&W it was Ilford (except for Kodak 2475 Recording film) and IR it was Kodak High Speed Infrared.

Re: Sad day in Photography
I agree with MX5 Chapter 11 should keep them afloat for a while and I hope they can survive. It is the poor pensioners that I fear may suffer the most if they do fail completely, particularly in the US.
Very much as MX notes for his choice of films mine mirrored them exactly, loved the old IR film that was great.

Chapter 11 is an American protection scheme that means you have a certain amount of time to try and sort out your finances and prevents any of your creditors making major claims against your company or forcing bankruptcy proceedings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapter...ed_States_Code have a look at this link
