Hello everyone.
I've just joined the forum as I hope to get some tips & useful advice as I start what I hope will be a fruitful journey into the EOS world.
I've been using a Lumix TZ40 for several years and have been pleased with some of the results (mainly birding, some motor sports & air shows) that can be got from a camera that will fit into my pocket but recently I started to get a bit frustrated with its limitations, so it was definitely time for a move to a DSLR.
I've just bought a 750D with 18-55mm and 55-250mm lenses. I did blow my original budget even with that little lot but I expect to see myself upgrading over the coming years. Of course, budgets are only ever there to be broken anyway, aren't they?!
I am going to book myself onto a photography course so I can learn some theory, put it into practice and ultimately get the most out of the camera.
I am looking forward to reading through the forum and starting my ascent up the steep bit of the learning curve.
Cheers
Chris
