It was my birthday on Wednesday ,got a few quid from the kids and rather than dribble it away I went out yesterday and treated myself to a rather large astronomy telescope ,always fancied one so why not ,spent a couple of hours setting it up and just got to wait for clear skies now

just viewing at the moment ,out to dinner in a bit so don't know if it will go out tonight or not , will be setting it up once i fully understand what extra bits i need ,its a short tube reflector with all the equatorial mounts and tripod and eyepieces etc .
